Responsibilities

Operational support
  • Support Asia-Pacific region service-monitor team to maintain/optimize/deploy/troubleshoot detectors to monitor Zoom services in the production environment
  • Investigate and respond to urgent internal requests to resolve ad hoc monitor-related issues
Analysis support
  • Analyze emerging abnormal service quality patterns using historical data and help improve service-monitor detectors to proactively counter new service quality incidents cases
  • Extract and process real-time and batch data from Zoom services for data exploration, aggregation, and validation, analyze emerging abnormal service quality patterns using historical data and help improve service-monitor detectors to proactively counter new service quality incidents cases
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in Python, SQL and Bash scripting
  • Strong fundamentals in analytical/troubleshooting skills
  • Basic cloud operational experience in AWS/Jenkins/Flink or spark.
  • Proficient in software development workflows, such as version control, debugging, testing, and deployment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving with a strong responsibility mindset and analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to be on-call to support Service-Monitor systems
Optional Skills
  • Proficient in leveraging Spark or Flink to create and manipulate data pipelines in an AWS big data environment
  • Having a background in machine learning is welcomed.
