JOB PURPOSE:

The "business to business" sales professional should be able to prospect target account for new business, maintain an existing territory of business as well as establish and work with partners.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Graduate
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Negotiation & Influencing Skills
  • Excellent Relationship building skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and sales analytics
  • Should have channel sales experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adoption of HED - Higher Education in his territory.
  • Experience in sales of Print and digital both will be preferable
  • Work closely with key influencers in colleges and universities in his territory for enhancing adoption base.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Service distributors.
  • Collect orders and payments on time.
  • Resolve distributors’ issues in consultation with State Head and Regional Manager
  • Ensure availability and visibility of Higher Education books in the retail channel in his territory.
  • Grow existing market by maximizing adoptions and develop new markets. Enhance market share across disciplines.
  • Generate good publishing leads for both national and regional curriculum requirements.
  • Submit weekly report on time.
  • Feedback on new markets and competitor activities.
  • Update the system on promotion stock and make new adoptions regularly.
