The incumbent will work collaboratively with software engineering team to deploy and operate our systems and, help automate and streamline our operations and processes. S/He will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. In addition, troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.


What youll do:

  • Use cloud services and open-source technologies (experience with AWS required).
  • Host production environments using node.js, PHP OR LAMP stack, WordPress and J2EE applications.
  • Manage nginx/apache hosting and load balancing, multi-site hosting, firewall and security practices.
  • Maintain high availability and resilience of the applications using IaaS and PaaS.

Who we’re looking for:

  • 3+ year experience in Linux Administration, public cloud services (AWS) and networking with DevOps experience.
  • B.S or higher in Computer Science.
  • Experienced in virtualization, docker based deployments, backup/recovery practices and worked on high availability environments.
  • Experienced in SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis and Cassandra/MongoDB administration and maintenance.
  • Experienced in Build tools (Jenkins), git, shell scripting and application deployment in different environments.
  • Experienced in log management and monitoring at system, database, networking, and application levels.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations for always available services.
